Aboard Ethan Allan

Monday, December 2, 1929

Squally (weather now relegated to the foreground as chief topic) today. Stoned the bridge in the morning and washed down the deck in the afternoon in a tropical downpour. Roberts got two ukes and we sat on a blanket with Tom on the fo’cas’le head (Robert’s watch) singing and bulling. Made 225 miles today.
