No accommodations on the Ethan Allan so my hope now lies in a job. Wasn’t able to locate the right man today. Ship comes in Thursday.

John and Vance came by at noon and after lunch I went, for the third time, to their World Literature Course. Topic was on the poetry of China. The professor, Mr. Sinclair, knows his oats and makes it interesting. Spent the evening at Embree’s.

This ship business is disgusting.

Asama Maru in today on its return voyage to the Orient.
